OC Tax Map is a responsive web application developed in partnership between Orange County Supervisor Lisa Bartlett, Treasurer-Tax Collector Shari Freidenrich, and OC Information Technology to provide greater transparency and access to information pertain property taxes. We know paying your property taxes is not the highlight of anyone’s day and often times there a special assessments which can be confusing. These special assessments, often referred to as Mello-Roos or CFDs are always posted on your tax bill, but you might not know where they are going and what services they are providing. The application utilizes Property Tax Data to display the base levy and special assessments on properties which includes Mello Roos, CFDs, and PACE loans. The application can be utilized by searching by address or searching a map. Data is displayed and where there is applicable details (such as mello roos details) that information is displayed.
